Things I’m Loving This Week

So grateful for the sunshine

It’s been a few weeks since I pulled one of these posts together and after a glorious start to the weekend I thought I’d jump on here and hit the update button. I’m already ticking off some of the things I’m looking forward to this year, I’m so excited for the blossom to arrive on the trees.

The bright sunshine was exactly what the doctor ordered. It’s been a glorious week, bright mornings and evenings – I adore that there is so much more daylight these days. It really does make a difference. The last few weeks in lockdown have been tough but something tells me the next few week’s are going to be a little easier.

Whether it’s the thought that Spring is around the corner and we’ll soon be spending our weekends relaxing in the garden or that we’re finally on what feels like a real road to coming out of this lockdown. It’s a wonderful thought. Fingers crossed we stay on track. I’m really looking forward to our little family date nights on Saturdays, cocktails with a friend and generally just being free to move and make plans. The thought of being able to make plans and not rub them off the planner fills me with so much joy.

How are you feeling about the announcement last week?

Things I’m Loving This Week

The feeling of the warm sunshine beaming down on my face. Walking around Trentham Gardens with George and Bobby, grabbing waffles and ice cream for lunch. Seeing the sunshine sparkling on the lake, starting Season 5 of This Is Us, the news that Schools are opening and lockdown will soon be coming to and end. And lastly, catching the sunrise and sunset on Saturday, it really was the perfect day.
