10 of my favourite outfits from 2020

One from every month of the year

As we’ve got nowhere to go, and make our way through Lockdown 3.0 I thought I would look back at my outfit photos from last year. I’ve picked out my favourites and thought I would share them with you. One of my favourites was from December and involved jeans, I didn’t expect that as 2020 was definitely the year I didn’t wear them!

What did you enjoy wearing in 2020?

When I shared this selection on Insta a few people were surprised there wasn’t a loungewear in sight. I’m the first to admit that I’m not a huge fan of loungewear so you won’t find any in my top 10, I’m sure they are in most people’s. Although I have just invested in a set! We’ll see how many arrive in 2021. And so, here’s my…

My H&M sequin dress for my 40th birthday celebrations. I had hoped to wear this again in Winter with a jumper on Festive nights out. I did wear it on Christmas Day!

Shacket, hoody, leather leggings and trainers. Definitely a favourite outfit before lockdown hit.

My favourite Summer dress and Teva sandals. The colour and flowy material made this such a comfortable dress.

An oversized t-shirt, denim shorts and a blazer. My go to beach style.

The perfect date day outfit, this dress really makes me smile. I cannot wait to wear dresses and trainers again.

2020’s must have shirt dress. I wore this H&M dress so much, it wore so well with sandals and trainers. The perfect day dress.

A slip dress and cosy knit to welcome in Autumn. A wardrobe staple for all year round.

The year I fell in love with jumper dresses. Worn with a fedora hat, leggings and trainers. This takes me straight back to October half term fun with George.

2020, the year I fell in love with the colour Stone and a taller slimmer Chelsea Boot. Dress from H&M and boots were from M&S – a great find.

This faux shearling shirt jacket from H&M was an awesome addition to my wardrobe. The perfect piece to layer up or wear under outerwear. Super cosy. And let’s not forget my Grenson Boots, the comfiest footwear in my wardrobe.

There were at least 10 more but a top 20 doesn’t quite have the same ring as a top 10. As we push into 2021, I am now leaning towards more practical pieces so an oversize piece like this faux shearling shacket that can be worn over lots of layers and under my coat just ticks all the boxes at the moment. That is until Spring arrives! Now that’s something to look forward to.

That’s so kind of you Kate. I think half the battle is knowing what suits you and remembering what you wear should make you smile and feel confident x
