Farewell December. That’s the last Chapter of 2021 complete. Another month gone, another year locked away in our memory box. So long, farewell. I for one am really sad to be saying goodbye to the month of December. Mainly because we have really enjoyed the festivities, the run up to Christmas has been blooming lovely, the days out, the get togethers with friends and family and our first trip to London to see it at Christmas time. We certainly made up for last year.
How was your December? How was your year? I’m going to write a little post about our favourite moments from the year of 2021. Our year in review. And why not? Because despite everything the world keeps throwing at us we really did make the most of every small, big and available moment. And I think that in these odd times, it really is important to remember the positive moments in time but also how far we have come.
And so, it’s the end of Chapter 12, the end of 2021.
Before we jump feet first into January and my birthday celebrations, let me tell you a little more about the things that have made us smile, here is…
ME AND MINE – DECEMBER 2021
GEORGE
A party at School for Christmas, ice skating with Mummy in Hyde Park, a trip to London with friends, sleepovers under the Christmas Tree, drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows and lots of presents from Santa and gifts from friends.
DADDY
Christmas drinks with the football parents, watching Jessie Ware at a gig in Manchester, watching George play his last football matches of the year, a trip to London to see the Christmas Lights, a magical Christmas Eve watching the Panto and seeing George’s Archie’s face on Christmas morning.
MUMMY
All of the Christmas activities we have managed to do this year, squeezing in catch ups with my girlfriends before Christmas, present buying for Mr H off George, organising the School Christmas parties at George’s School, seeing the Christmas Lights in London and the magic of Christmas Eve and the big day with George.
BOBBY
Christmas Advent biscuits, aA new lead and collard, new toys, tuggers and teddies, lots of time together as my humans were on holiday.
AND THAT’S OUR ME AND MINE – DECEMBER 2021
Despite everything the world continues to throw at us I am so glad that we have still managed to capture our little family during the strangest of times. As we approach the start of a new year, which will be our 7th year taking part in this #meandmineproject I am excited to see how 2022 takes shape for our little family.
And so, Chapter 1 of 2022 awaits. Have a great month ahead and start to the new year.
