My current Spring Style Loves

Oh hey there

Isn’t this sunshine just blooming lovely?

I don’t know about you but it got me all excited for the bank holiday weekend. Wouldn’t it be amazing if it hung around. I am willing the sun to put his hat on this weekend. And so like any normal person I went on a little shopping spree. Well actually I hit the New Look sale and I just had to share my new pastel shade beauties with you. Who doesn’t love mint green and pink? Such dreamy colours. Paired with a boater hat, woven bag and tan mules. Hey presto that’s my weekend outfits sorted.

So here I am sharing my current Spring Style Loves with you in my latest Wardrobe Edit. I have added the links to my Wardrobe so you can find them if you’re also lusting after pastel shades for the weekend. I just need a lavender field or a beach and I’m all set.

Jumpsuit

Jumpsuit, playsuit – they’re kinda the same thing right? As soon as I saw this mint green playsuit I couldn’t resist ordering it. Such a gorgeous colour and a relaxed fit for comfort also. Paired with the tan mules and my straw Alice Bag I just knew it would carry me through Spring and Summer. It will look perfect in France and Spain which are our next travel destinations. And then there’s the pink jumpsuit. Mr H thinks I look like a decorator –  whereas I feel comfortable and a little more covered up for when it isn’t quite warm enough to bare all. Paired with a denim jacket, tan mules and a boater hat. Take me to the beach?

Blouses

I love floaty tops for Spring and Summer. And when they have tassles I just can’t resist. Can you? I meant to grab something similar last year but missed my chance so when I saw this appear in the new arrivals section at H&M I just had to be impulsive. A little naughty after our holiday but when you know, you know. I am so glad that I did. Such a gorgeous fit – after H&M changed their sizes I would size down. I went for an 8 and it’s perfect – it is a relaxed fit in style so keep that in mind. I can’t wait to wear this with a pair of denim shorts, my tan mules (again), straw bag and pink hair scarf. Sounds lush.

Mules

A trend I have really bought into the last year or so. Much to Mr H’s dismay. Although again I wanted a pair last year but didn’t take the plunge. I struggle to walk in such flat shoes and rarely find ones that are indeed comfortable. These ones from New Look have a cushioned sole so actually they’re really comfortable. A huge hit and they lend themselves to so many items in my summer wardrobe. Especially these gorgeous pieces. Tan always look great with pastel shades as well as denim and that’s exactly what I see myself wearing them with – cut of denim jeans or shorts as I walk down the beach. You are welcome!

Accessories

Spring is in the air. A girl can never be short of accessories. And for me they can often make an outfit. They have the ability to add a little something – and this is what I love about accessories. I don’t think you can beat a straw bag, there are so many variations of this bag on the high street. This will be my second summer styling it and I have to say it’s my go to bag from spring through to Autumn. My new favourite is the long scrunchie, this one is from New Look however you’ll find lots of super purse friendly ones in Primark.
