Hello Friday.
Hello sunshine.
How are you all? Hasn’t it been a gorgeous week. And it would seem the sunshine is set to stay for the weekend which has made me smile all week long. Doesn’t it make such a difference. The sunshine really is magic. And just look at that blossom. So pretty.
And so for this week’s favourites grab a coffee and a slice of cake…
Last weekend…
I caught up with my gorgeous friend Sian for cocktails, food and chat in Manchester. I introduced her to Mackie Mayors and the Northern Quarter for drinks. It was such a gorgeous day and how lovely is her dress? It was so blooming great to see her, I only wish we lived closer. I think we quite literally talked about every possible topic. A true girly day.

Wore
I went on a little shopping trip to pick up some last minute accessories for our trip to Florida. As of today we are now 20 days away and it really does feel like it has crept up on me despite counting down for months. We’ve finally completed our plans for the trip so I figure my attention needs to turn to what I am wearing. Of course. With the heat and stomping around theme parks and water parks I can see me tying my hair up quite a bit, so I just had to pick up some hair accessories from Primark.

Music…
Mr H popped this 1975 song on my Spotify and I have quite literally had it on repeat all week. I think after having a little car karaoke with George last week I’ve found my love for popping on a little playlist even just for the few minutes drive I have of a morning.

Watched…
I’ve been digging back into my Sex and The City box set and really enjoying the nostalgia. Also, the new season of Blue Bloods is back on screen and oh my goodness I am so happy about that. And then there’s Mr H re watching some key scenes from Game of Thrones. And of course there’s Tim Tracker vlogs of all things Orlando. We are all a little addicted.
This weekend…
I have a weekend of two halves. On Friday evening I have the lovely Jenny staying with us as we are off to a Wellness day at my local Spa – MADE at Moddershall Oaks. We have a day of fitness classes, healthy food and then free time in the Spa. And then there is Sunday, as Mr H is busy revising for his upcoming exam I have a day with my gorgeous boy on Mother’s Day. Won’t that be just lovely. We have to squeeze in the 4th Harry Potter movie which I’m not sure if it will be too dark or not. He’s really getting into the collection which is lovely to see. It will be the books next.

Have a great weekend and week ahead.
