This week I have been

Hello you lovely lot.

It’s been a little while since I’ve written a weekly post like this. Over a month. In truth, I haven’t been able to find the time or had the head space to press release. But I have missed writing. I’ve missed stepping away from the world, the stresses around us and escaping to my little online space. It’s just me and my laptop and maybe a few of you reading these words.

Thank you for continuing to read and send me messages. How are you?

What’s happened since I last wrote a post like this? Well, George celebrated his 9th birthday. Yes he did. And we went on our first day trip to Knowsley Safari Park after restrictions were lifted. We also went to the Cotswolds for a staycation after more restrictions were lifted. I guess you could say it’s been a busy few weeks.

And so, this week I have been…

Socialising with friends

We had drinks and food with friends, we played garden games and laughed. There was a bright blue sky. We talked and talked and for a moment, life felt normal. Except for the hand sanitiser, the 2 m distance and not being able to embrace.

Wearing

My puff sleeved dress from H&M. I loved wearing it. Well, it is pink after all. And a maxi dress. Two of my favourites. If you decided to try this dress then I would say to size down as it comes up really big.

Slow Sunday morning

It felt lovely having the sunshine back and being able to be back in our garden once again. Sunday morning was super relaxing. We sat in the sunshine, enjoyed an alfresco breakfast with George and well catching a few rays of course.

Enjoying fresh flowers

I really do love having fresh flowers in the house. Always nice to walk into a room with brightly coloured blooms and the sweet smell filling the air. It’s the little things that make me smile.

And that’s this week’s I have been.

The KA Edit

I’m Kerri-Ann or KA as my friends call me, always found with a cup of coffee in one hand and my camera in the other. I have a huge passion for photography, fitness, fashion and family travel. I started this blog in 2014. It began as my creative outlet after becoming a mummy to our little boy George Archie. I started out blogging about parenting and over the years it has evolved into a blog that covers lifestyle, fashion, family and travel. Today TheKAEdit is ultimately a life and style blog.
