What I Wore in Normandy
Summer styling coming to an inbox near you.
It’s one of my favourite things. Rummaging through my summer suitcase, trying on my clothes and then packing by both day and night outfits. I’m not the only one who does this am I?
So today’s blog post is therefore one of my favourite types of posts to pull together. All those fabulous holidays outfits. I cannot wait until we are next sat on the beach with a drink in hand and maybe even a book if I’m lucky.
This post is all about the summer wardrobe I wore on our most recent holiday when we visited a Eurocamp site in Normandy. I don’t know about you but when I’m travelling to new countries I’m always a little wary of what to pack. I very quickly realised that perhaps this holiday didn’t warrant all my long floaty summer dresses, I’ll save them for when we go to Spain in 9 days. Yes 9 days until the sunshine is kissing my skin.
So instead I opted for comfort and practicality. Nothing quite beats the ease and simplicity of a jumpsuit or a pair of shorts. And then there’s a straw bag. A bag that has earned it’s place in my wardrobe. A staple for years, I can’t add but help to this obsession each year. And as for jumpsuits, let’s just say that Next’s beachwear game is strong this season (and such good value). I am forever on the hunt for long floaty dresses to appeal to my Senorita heart but for now they can wait. Similarly, a pair of denim shorts and costume is an easy combo and can be dressed up or down.
And so here is what I wore in Normandy…
Thank you for reading my holiday edit. Are you off anywhere nice this summer?
