PAJ GPS Dog Tracker {Review}

Protect who you love with a PAJ GPS Dog Tracker. Until recently I never considered tracking Bobs’ movements, he’s our 3-year-old Chocolate Labrador who loves to go on an adventure. When the PAJ team got in touch, we knew it was a great opportunity to learn more about this technology and ultimately keep our precious Bobster safe. After all, we don’t hesitate to use phone trackers on our 12-year-old son for peace of mind, so why not our best furiend.

I recently read that approximately 5 dogs go missing every day in the UK. A shocking statistic. Despite Bob rarely being away from our care, we do worry that something could go wrong. After losing Alfie to illness in 2020 we want to do everything we can to protect Bob. Being able to track his exact location has put our minds at rest. I was amazed watching his morning walk on the finder app and instantly felt relief knowing that with this tracker we are now safe in the knowledge that we could find him.

One thing that did surprise me, was how small and compact the GPS tracker was. I was concerned that it would be bulky or heavy and that Bob wouldn’t react well to it. You can easily attach them to your dog’s collar or harness, and best of all, Bob didn’t notice. The PAJ GPS Tracker comes with a collar however you would be able to attach the tracker to your own dog collar should the sizing work.

The tracker was simple and easy to set up, it felt user-friendly and took a few minutes once the device itself had been fully charged. You simply link up your device with the app on your phone – you’re all set. And with a long battery life you would simply need to charge it once per week.

What are the benefits of using a GPS Tracker?

Two of the main benefits for us are the live tracking function and the route history. I’m sure we’ll come across more as we continue to use it. These two stood out, as well as the ability to sync the tracker with a dedicated finder portal app on our phone. One thing I hadn’t considered was if the tracker was waterproof, I was pleased to read that it is. And because of the tracking capabilities, it can simply be the difference between losing your dog and keeping them safe. With a global range, you can rest easy in the knowledge that unlike a Bluetooth tracker which typically tracks up to 100 yards you can rely on the device.
