Here’s a little look into our favourite family Christmas tradition. A magical season filled with joy, laughter, singing, hot chocolate, movie days and so much more. A Christmas tradition makes this time of year even more special.
Christmas is all about making memories. From visiting the Christmas tree farm, to decorating the trees and hanging icicle lights from the windows. And that’s just the start. Spending time together is the most precious part of Christmas for me. We have made a few traditions over the years that will stay with our family and if we are lucky, passed down through generations to enjoy for many years.
So, if you are wanting to start a new Christmas tradition this year, there is no doubt that visiting a Christmas Tree Farm is a great one. We always head out to our local farm at Keele Christmas Tree Farm on opening weekend. We love the freedom to wander through the farm without there being too many people. We like to take our time with a hot chocolate, really consider which trees to pick out and just as we did on our first ever visit more than 10 years ago, we measure, tag and watch as they are dug out.
