Me and Mine in September.
It feels like it’s been a long old month since I wrote our Me and Mine in August. Does anyone else feel like September has been a long month? And I don’t mean that negatively as September has been a pretty great month for us. As we leave September behind the seasons really have started to change. Autumn has arrived.
Let’s see. The first few days of September we were in Spain, learning to paddle board and enjoying the sunshine. And then there’s the return to School, work, routine and evening classes for George. Our friends baby girl arrived safely, George’s football season kicked in as well as Cross Country. We’ve ridden our bikes, explored our local towns in search of street art and ended the month enjoying a weekend of family time, a cosy and rather lazy Sunday. Isn’t that what Autumn is all about?
For the most part we were wearing our summer clothes and sandals. Last weekend I was in my sandals. This weekend, as I write this post we have been wearing boots and jumpers. There’s been gorgeous skies both morning and night. I do love the colours of the sky at this time of year. September really is a beautiful month. Although on the last day of the month when I grabbed this months photos, it rained all day hence the photo’s at home.
And so let me tell you a little about what we have loved in Chapter 9 of 2019, Me and Mine in September…
Finding street art, wearing boots and coats, date day in Manchester with Mr H and friends, watching George come 5th in his Cross Country race and taking Man of the Match at Football.
Watching George play in his football games, the safe arrival of baby Solenne, date day in Manchester with friends, sunny evenings playing football and lastly watching George master another track at drumming.
Placing 5th in his first cross country race of the year, play dates with his best friend Oscar, going on a family bike ride, meeting baby Solenne, and lastly getting man of the match.
And that’s this months Me and Mine, a gorgeous family portrait project of our little family in September. I’m so glad that I stumbled across this project all those years ago. Remembering to grab a shot of our little family has been a tradition for so long now that I hope my boys continue to indulge me for a few more years yet.
How are we already on the road to the last 3 months of the year. How? Dare I say we have even watched our first Christmas movie. We are going in strong with Christmas Chronicles. Gosh time really is flying by. Have a great month and see you on the other side.
These are my favorite me and mine photos of yours hunny. So gorgeous so homey and a glimpse into your beautiful family life. Sounds like it’s been a busy one for you all. 🙂
Aww thank you, another friend said that which really made me smile
