This week I have been

Oh hey there.

Good week?

I don’t know about you but I think this week has flown.

And just like that we are approaching week four of the summer holidays. Well this week I guess you could say I have been enjoying the daily grind. Life in the day job has been good, we’re super busy. I had my little helper in the office one day which was fun. I think he’s a young leader in the making.

I mentioned it last week, I’m really enjoying sharing some content on the blog from our travels this year. As much as I will always see the blog as my online journal it’s also lovely when I see my content being read. And even better when you get feedback. Since coming back from Florida and sharing some content I’ve had messages about the blog posts which has really made me smile. I remember googling Instagram Walls of Disney before I went – I knew then that I had to share a post about the walls we loved. And it would seem others do too.

And so, this week I have been…

Watching

I had a few hours to myself last weekend and lost myself to the new Hills – New Beginnings. I blasted my way through it and it took me right back to when I used to watch the original series and The City. I’m not one for indulging like that but I really enjoyed it. Were you a fan?

Writing

I may have mentioned that already. I have finally written and shared the first in three posts all about our trip to the Universal Resort. In some respects we saved the best part of our trip to last. It certainly was a great way to end our time in Orlando, great to stay onsite, not to be driving everywhere and we certainly enjoyed a cheeky drink in the day. First up is a blog all about our review of the Universal Studios Florida. I’ve tried to answer the questions I was being asked whilst we were out there as well as share all the bits we loved and would recommend.

Crafting

George and I have been making Forky’s. We’ve now seen the film twice, for those that don’t know this little guy is one of the main characters in Toy Story 4. I knew it wouldn’t be long before he asked to make one and so off we went to buy crafty bits and bobs and hey presto. I think we did OK. He’s since made another 4 for friends. There’s a whole family of them on our shelves.

Wearing

It’s been a good weather weekend and week so I’ve been wearing some new bits I have picked up. As well as some old favorites. There’s nothing like digging through your summer suitcase and finding a couple of pieces you had forgotten. The pink dress was definitely one of those.

Skirt & T-shirt from New look. Green dress from Topshop which is my absolute new favourite. I’ve updated my Wardrobe page with the details so if you fancy a little snoop pop over.

Planning

I mentioned last week that we are off to Spain for the end of the summer holidays. We have started to look back at some of our favourite beaches we visited, restaurants we want to go back to or beauty spots we found like a little cove where the boys go snorkelling. As well as deciding what clothes we are taking and starting to loosely pack. I love that what I’m packing this time round is different to when we went to Florida and then France.

That’s it from me this week. Have a great weekend and week ahead. See you next week for another This week I have been post.
