Me and Mine in November…

And that’s a wrap. Chapter 11 is complete. Despite saying this quite often when I pull this post together – how are we on the countdown to the end of 2018? But before I start talking about Christmas and all the festive trips we have planned let me tell you a little about November.

We took on family Ice Skating, watched the fireworks at Alton Towers, made our annual Christmas shopping trip to the Trafford Centre, enjoyed cosy pub lunches and generally took things a little slower. December is always so busy, often with the last weekend in November devoted to visiting our local Christmas Tree Farm as well as shopping for baubles and lights.

Oh George Archie, if only you didn’t have a grumpy face on our only family photo for November. Never mind. It’s my fault for not checking them. You wouldn’t believe it from looking at the photo below but we were having a lovely family day. It’s always a favourite on the calendar. This was the moment I asked for a family photo right as he saw the hot chocolate van. Oh well, the memories of this day in November will forever outshine this one photo.

And so, here are a few things we have been loving in November…

Daddy is loving…

Watching George wear his new football strip, visiting the Christmas tree farm, cooking all the good food on a weekend, cosy pub lunches, visiting the Snowdome and Christmas shopping.

George is loving…

Visiting the Legoland Discovery at the Trafford Centre, eating his first candy cane when we visited the Snowdome Tamworth, picking out his Christmas tree and getting his football kit for his football team.

Mummy is loving…

The run up to Christmas of course. But before that, watching George learn how to ice skate, the fireworks, Georges winter wardrobe as well as shopping for some new cosy jumpers for myself and lastly a little mummy and son date shopping for a present for Mr H.

.

I hope you all have a wonderful month of December, with a sprinkling of festive magic, lots of chocolate and quite possibly mulled wine. I don’t know about you but we are enjoying full hibernation mode after a rainy and rather cold November. See you at the end of the year, have a truly wonderful Christmas.

I have added this post to Lucy’s #meandmineproject over on her blog Dear Beautiful.
