Leopard print, Autumn vibes & Blue skies {Weekly round up}

I’m in shock by how warm it is. Only last weekend did we have the heating on, snuggling up under cosy blankets watching a movie on Sunday afternoon and then there is this week. I am back to bare ankles. I even popped on a summer dress. Not wearing a coat and popping on my sunglasses. Please let it stay, if only for a few more weekends. It’s been lovely

And so, grab a cuppa and join me in a little round up the week gone by…

Wore…

It’s all about the leopard print dress you know. I’m not sure a girl can ever wear too much leopard print right? I’m so glad I took the plunge and ordered it. I cannot wait to play around with styling this dress, with cosy knits, chunky ankle boots and trainers. But for now this is how I wore it for a day in Manchester…

Watched…

The last episode of Bodyguard, blooming hell that was a difficult watch. I couldn’t quite decide how it was going to end. We have also finished watching Jack Ryan which was brilliant. We have started a couple of new series – Start Up which I haven’t really taken to, Mr H has – he loves the lead actor. And then Strangers which is a little different and one that’s keeping my attention. And lastly, we’ve also started to watch The Looming Tower – all about the 9/11 disaster.

Heard…

Jess Glynne’s All I am has been a firm favourite on my Spotify Playlist these last few days. I may have played it as loud as possible in the car on my journey to the office of a morning, danced away, punched the sky and sang along. I love the words, they’re beautiful, soppy and perfect for how I am feeling right now. I may have been seen, folk may have laughed at me but boy did it feel good. You should try it.

Last weekend…

Last weekend was the perfect blend of time spent with close friends and Mr H – drinking, good food and so much laughter. And then the most gorgeous family day at Go Ape. What a great day out that was – I would highly recommend it. George declared it his Greatest Day which made me smile. I’ve written all about it if you fancy a little look, we were so lucky with the weather and gosh despite being scared I did it. And here are a few photo’s from Saturday’s day drinking for a friends 40th birthday celebrations…

This weekend…

Its another mixture of doing the things I love, being creative, spending a few hours with a friend and then precious family time. I hope the sun shines so that we can enjoy some time outdoors – George is mastering the art of riding his new scooter and skateboard so some time out together sounds perfect.

Have a great weekend and week ahead.

      We have been very lucky indeed, although it seems to have disappeared now, it’s a rainy and grey sky week here x

    All such great looks; I love the double leopard, and the double summery white is so fresh! It is such a good idea to have separates to make a FULL look and to break up, as you did with the pink jumper and leopard skirt. Speaking of the leopard skirt, that is an amazing thrift shop find, well done you, Miss Black Belt Shopper! I love every look in this post!

    Ah a lot of my fave Manchester haunts there. And love the dress you look amazing. OMG the Body Guard I was on the edge of my seat for that last episode. The weather last week was amazing wasn’t it, today has not been quite so bright x
