My 38 year old skin…

38 year old skin - Green people skincare

My 38 year old skin has been in need of a little love lately. The one thing I have noticed as the years pass is how my skin has changed, it has definitely lost its elasticity and often I feel my skin looks dull. And whilst I am lucky to have clear skin I feel now is the time to try something new. I have been using the same products since George was born and just feel like they aren’t enough. Do you ever feel that way?

And so I have been trying out some of the lovely products over at Green People in a bid to give my skin a much needed boost. I’ve been using anti ageing products since I was in my late twenties but lately I’ve noticed an increase in wrinkles, lines and my skin looking fatigued, or maybe it’s just my age and the weather? I rarely have breakouts or suffer with problems but lately I can definitely see the signs of ageing. And whilst I know that’s all part of growing up if there is something I can do that doesn’t involve surgery I want to give it a go.

I have been using these products for a couple of weeks now so I thought I would update you with how I’m getting on. I can honestly say I am super impressed – the smell and freshness of the products and that soft feeling will continue to draw me back to these products. And after using these Age Defy+ products exclusively for the last few weeks I can tell you that for age defying skincare you are in the right place. My favourites are the Hydrate & Renew Serum and the Facial Oil. Personally created by founder Charlotte for women aged 35+ years (that’s me) for when skin cell renewal slows down.

And so, let me tell you whats special about them? And why I am now happy with my 38 year old skin…

I personally feel like they have been highly effective and have left me feeling more confident about wearing less make up. One of my girlfriends actually said my skin is looking more radiant. Aww thanks Aimee. These products are rich in age defying botanicals and plant stem cells for regeneration, moisture and hydration. The products are easily absorbed and my skin feels smooth. I instantly feel refreshed after using a combination of them and best of all I feel like the wrinkles have diminished slightly. My skin has that fresh and renewed feeling and dare I say looking brighter. As the descriptions on the bottles say… they hydrate, rejuvenate, reduce, smooth and illuminate. So true.

I am a HUGE Green People advocate. I use their Age Defy tinted moisturiser all through the summer as well as their eye gel and Vita Min fix moisturiser at night and in the winter months. You’ve reminded me that I need to stock up on the facial oil! x

I have heard loads about the Green People but never tried it, skin care at 35 plus is a career isnt it? But using the right products makes such a huge difference x

They are such lovely products, they remind me of Elemis but without the price tag. x

I’m always on the look out for anything that diminishes the wrinkles! I’ve not heard of these products but they do sound really good, I love trying out new skin care products. I still can’t believe you’re 38, you really don’t look it KA. xx

I haven’t tried these but I need a new skin care routine at my age I should have had one in place years ago. I am so bad at taking care of my skin. I need to wear more sunblock and wash makeup off and over just moisturize more for a start. lol You always look amazing.

I think its so important to look after our skin, although since George arrived I haven’t perhaps purchased the right products but hopefully that’s changed now with the addition of these little treats. And thank you lovely, you are far too kind x

Aww thank you Heledd, that’s so lovely of you to say. I haven’t really focussed that much on beauty products since George arrived but I really do think it is something I need to change x

I’ve heard good things about this company though I’ve not tried any of their products. I don’t really use much on my face as I struggle with hormonal breakouts so I try to keep things as simple as possible but I have so many worry lines that I’d love to try and reduce. Maybe I need to give something new a try too…?
