Me and Mine Project – July

July you have been wonderful. Despite not being filled with many adventures you have been awash with precious family time, lazy weekends where we have all taken life at a much slower pace. With the end of the school year, a growing boy who is about to lose another tooth (this time at the top) and busy work schedules you couldn’t have come at a better time.

This month’s photos were taken at Trentham Gardens – the gardens are in full bloom at the moment, the smells from the flowers and all the colour always inspires me to take a photograph and so I thought I would take the opportunity to try out my new tripod. I am so glad that I did. Despite Mr H and I being super tired from our anniversary celebrations the day before our gorgeous boy took control and styled the shots. I think we might have a little photographer in the making.

And so here are a few things we have been loving in July…

Mr H has been loving a date day in Manchester to celebrate our anniversary, planning our holiday to Espana in a few weeks time which includes a trip to a waterpark of course, finally finishing his exams (fingers crossed he passes) and giving our garden a little spruce up for our first BBQ.

George has been loving the end of the school year, play dates with his friends in the sunshine, a sleepover with Uncle Steven, playing with his Guardians of the Galaxy toys and trips to the cinema.

And lastly I have been loving strawberry picking which is now an annual tradition, blue skies and pretty blooms, sale shopping for our summer holiday, my new tripod for our family photos, capturing our days out on video and date nights with Mr H (two this month to celebrate our anniversary).

Next month I am planning on taking our little family photo’s when we are in Spain on our holiday, fingers crossed the sea air and super relaxed feeling from being on holiday inspires my boys. I am thinking sunset walks and early morning beach scenes. Have a great month and see you in August me and mine crew.

I have added this post to Lucy’s #MeandMineProject over on her blog Dear Beautiful.
